Email support@buzzerbeaterlabs.com, or in the app go to Account → Contact Support — that opens an email that already includes your app version, iOS version, and device model, which helps us answer faster.
For a bug, it helps to say what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot is great.
Plan, log, and track
- Build a plan: Plan tab → New Plan → add days → add exercises with target sets, reps, and rest. Turn on Active plan so the Train tab suggests what's next.
- Log a workout: Train tab → tap a plan day (or Freestyle Workout). Enter weight and reps, then tap the checkmark to finish each set and start the rest timer.
- Finish: tap Finish, rate how it felt and how hard it was, and Save to see your summary — time, volume, new personal records, and best sets.
- Track progress: the Progress tab has per-lift charts, personal records, body weight, effort, cardio, and mobility.
The in-app Account → Help & FAQ covers every feature in more detail.
Your data is backed up to your iCloud Drive
After each workout, and at least once a day, the app saves a backup to Files → iCloud Drive → Buzzer Beater Fitness. You can also tap Account → Back Up Now, or Export All Data to save a copy anywhere.
- New phone or reinstall: the welcome screen offers to restore your latest backup.
- Restore any time: Account → Restore Data. Your current data is saved as a safety copy first, so a restore can be undone from the same screen.
- Backups show "this device only"? iCloud Drive is off for the app — turn it on in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Quick answers
Do I need an account? No. There's no sign-up and no server — everything stays on your phone and in your own iCloud Drive.
Can I use kilograms? Yes — Account → Units.
What do the row colors mean? Once you check off a set: green is inside your target rep range, green with ↑ is above it (time to add weight), amber is one rep short, red is two or more short.
How do I use the Apple Watch app? Start a workout on your iPhone or Watch; the Watch shows your next set and rest timer, and you can log sets from your wrist. Keep your iPhone nearby — it stores the data.
Can I share a plan or a workout? Yes — open a plan → Share Plan to send a file a friend can import, or tap Share on a finished workout for an image card.
What you need
- iPhone with iOS 26.5 or later
- Apple Watch app (optional): watchOS 26.5 or later, paired with the iPhone running the app
